I’m a witness of other people’s lives first and foremost rather than a scriptwriter. I try to blend in along with my camera to achieve the privilege of real intimacy. As a photographer my duty and pleasure is to capture the moment when the models are at their aesthetic and expressive peak. Thanks for joining me.
I learned using a WZFO Start B medium format camera as a child. My father used to develop and print his own b&w shots back then and my mother is a trained painter. Being passionate about visual arts they supported my little experiments covering the cost of the occasional 120 film and encouraging me.
Recently I rediscovered this old love and, while I’m still half the photographer I was, I’ve been lucky and met the right people to start shooting nudes which are, to me, the most rewarding pictures possible. That’s where my commitment is today.

We are born without clothes. Being naked is a form of authenticity but today, maybe more than ever, naked bodies and eroticism are not seen as fundamental parts of a whole, that is our life. They are often idolized or denigrated, spent like currency, demonized because they evoke the persistent taboo of sex. It is like the blind men and the elephant: focus enough on your own biased viewpoint and you miss the big picture. I clearly remember a wise remark I heard many years ago. We were walking by a river and a few young boys were seeking relief from the considerable heat in shallow water, as they noticed us they suddenly felt embarassed. An older man who was with me sighed: why do people gladly show off what only a few have, yet feel ashamed to show what everyone has?
Every picture here tells a story, however short, because even if you see just one model there’s the implicit presence of the photographer. There’s always a meeting, the sharing of a moment. The picture, in a way, is just the tangible proof of what happened. Then there’s you, you too are invited to participate by watching or, parhaps, becoming the next model.
